What’s Left Of Me, 2024

Mixed media installation, 4 mins
Video, wooden frame with photo (Giclée print, 8x8), brush pen on drawing paper

Incorporating video, soundscapes, and sculptural elements, ‘What’s Left of Me’ explores the deeply personal experience of emotional concealment and the process of unraveling I experienced after being outed back in my home country and have my right to entry revoked. Through the combination of self-recorded footage, materials such as paper and wood, and disjointed subtitles, the work visualises the disconnection between internal emotions and external perceptions, reflecting on my identity, shame, and self-exposure.
